Baker is studying Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics A-levels at Brampton Manor Academy in the London borough of Newham.
He aspires to study medicine at a Russell Group university and become a doctor or a surgeon.  Whilst preparing for his career ahead, Baker has acquired a particular interest in oncology and researched about the application of the new gene editing technology ‘CRISPR’ in combating the hereditary tendencies of cancer as well as malaria, a disease common in his country of birth, Uganda.
In his spare time, he engages in debating competitions and also volunteers with children who take a leading role in caring for relatives or parents with drug addiction, alcoholism or/and disabilities.
